Blogging How To: Write On

So you want to write a blog? You can do it! Write On! How do I know this? I’m speaking from experience. A little about my background will help you understand. I have always written… diaries, journals, letters, children’s stories, fiction, non-fiction. When I was about twelve  my mom told me that I should write stories like Laura Ingalls and Erma Bombeck about life on the farm. I didn’t really do much more with that advice than keep a diary from time to time through my teen years. Once I got to college, I started writing more seriously. Of course, half of that writing was term papers and research projects. In my spare time, I worked on a fiction novel. I have no idea what happened to that novel, but I am positive it was full of drama and angst, since most of my inspiration came from the college dorm. I picked up the pen a few years later, to write children’s stories when my kids were young.
