Copyright 1992 ISBN 1-55993-202-3 Paperback, 128 pages Condition – fair, pages are yellowing, several have tears Another useful cookbook, full of recipes for all parts of your menu! Over 600 recipes are printed in this book with simple instructions and few ingredients. Oatmeal Cake 1 cup quick oatmeal 1 ¼ cups boiling water 1 stick butter or margarine 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 ½ cups flour 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla Stir together the oatmeal, boiling water and butter until butter melts. Let cool. Add the eggs and beat, then add sugar and beat mixture again. Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon and salt and add to cake mixture with the vanilla. Beat well.
