    Chocolate chips cookies is my favorite and I like to have some during my cheat day. Totally agree this make a great gift with nice glass bottle and ribbon. After all, this is homemade with love.

    Cookie mixes as Christmas gifts is a great idea. I always love when I get one from someone. This recipe for chocolate chips looks amazing. I’m always on the hunt for a good chocolate chip recipe, this is one I’ll have to try.

    This is such a great idea. I think food gifts are the absolute best — they will get consumed. And you can never go wrong with chocolate chip cookies — every one loves them!! I think I’ll make a homemade food basket to give as gifts at Christmas.

    I love giving cookie recipes in a jar as Christmas Gifts. Chocolate chips are always a winner. I think people really enjoy these gifts and remember them fondly. Can you believe we are already in September.. soon Christmas will be here.

    • Veena, I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by! I’m starting to think about Christmas, mostly so I can manage my budget … but dang, I wish summer would hang on just a bit longer!

  8. The first time I saw a cookie jar mix was for a wedding party and I just thought it was the niftiest idea for a party favor or gift! This is a perfect idea for the holidays. I always love making gifts 🙂 The cookies look wonderful too! ^_^

  10. First of those chocolate chip cookies look absolutely delicious! Second, that is an awesome idea for a gift. It would easily be given as a Christmas gift but you could do birthday gift, housewarming gift, just because, nearly anything. Good choice on the ribbon colors and design!

    • Flavia, I wish I did have some good options … I know the butter can be exchanged for coconut oil, but eggs – I don’t know. I’m not godo with the vegan guidelines. Apologies.

    • You can substitute the flour of your choice to meet the dietary needs of your family. I only know how to sub non dairy products for my granddaughter, so don’t usually share ideas on subs.
