Peppermint Patty Cheesecake

Rich and minty, this cheesecake is an elegant dessert to serve your guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cheesecake
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese icing
  • 4-5 Drops Peppermint Oil
  • 1/2 cup Hot Fudge Sauce
  • 10-15 Peppermint Patty Candies

Instructions

  1. Prepare cheesecake according to your favorite recipe. Or use a packaged frozen cheesecake as I did. Unwrap cheesecake and place on serving plate.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese icing with the peppermint oil. Use one or two drops, taste, add one or two more drops according to taste. Repeat until you have the peppermint flavor strength you prefer.

  3. Spread peppermint cream cheese over cheesecake.

  4. Warm hot fudge sauce slightly so it becomes easy to spread. Spread the hot fudge over the peppermint cream cheese.

  5. Slice peppermint patties in half. Arrange cut side down around edge of cheesecake. Place several halves cut side up in center of cheesecake.

  6. Chill one hour.
