Cappuccino Bread

A great snack with your afternoon coffee!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 3/4 cup Semisweet Chocolate
  • 2 teaspoon instant Espresso Coffee powder
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 1 cup Milk scalded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a cup, mix the cinnamon and 1 TB sugar. Set aside to use later on.

  3. In a large bowl, blend the rest of the sugar, flour, baking powder, chocolate and coffee powder. 

  4. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs, add the milk. Mix until foamy.

  5. Combine the wet mixtures (milk & eggs and the melted butter) with the dry. Mix until well combined.

  6. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. 

  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture you saved. 

  8. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
