Coffee Glazed Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup Peanuts
  • 1/4 cup Espresso
  • 1/2 cup Dark Karo
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

Final Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Instant Coffee
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Line a rimmed baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

  3. Place all nuts in medium mixing bowl. 

  4. Mix together the espresso, corn syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and coconut oil.

  5. Pour liquid over nuts and stir to coat. Let rest 10-15 minutes. 

  6. Spread nuts in a single layer on the lined baking pan. 

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

  8. Remove from oven, stir nuts to ensure coating is evenly distributed. Bake another 15 - 25 minutes.

  9. Mix the additional seasoning ingredients and sprinkle over the nuts when you remove them from the oven. 

  10. Allow to cool , stirring occasionally.  

  11. Once completely cooled, store in airtight container.
