Cottage Pie Recipe

A traditional dish that's perfect for a weekend supper. It's filling and flavorful as well as appealing to all taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • ½ c. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 c. Frozen Peas
  • 1 c. diced Carrots
  • 2 Potatoes
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix the ground beef with the Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pat into bottom of pie pan.
  4. Layer peas and carrots over the beef. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Cut the potatoes in half and slice thinly. Layer the potato slices on top of the vegetables.
  6. Overlap the edges of the potato slices to look like roof shingles.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
  8. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake for 15 additional minutes.
