Measure water and turmeric into saucepan.
Stir using whisk to combine.
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly.
When turmeric and water reaches the consistency of peanut butter, add black pepper and coconut oil.
Stir to combine.
Pour into storage jar, using spatula to scrape all paste from saucepan.
Allow to cool.
Store, covered in refrigerator, up to two weeks.
Add to food or drink to help combat soreness from aches and pains.
Portion is one teaspoon for adults or large dogs. Half teaspoon for teens and smaller dogs.
