Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies

Two classic desserts combined into one dish ... you know this is going to be a winner! These loaded brownies are good enough to be declared "Everything that is good in this world!" by a teenage boy. Mix up your favorite chocolate chip cookies and brownie recipes. Then combine them in one pan.

Ingredients

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  • 1 2/3 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Brownie Batter

  • 1 1/4 cup Flour
  • 2 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 4 Egg

Instructions

Make the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

  2. In a small mixing bowl combine the eggs, butter and oil.

  3. Add the wet ingredients to large bowl of dry ingredients.

  4. Stir to combine.

  5. Add chocolate chips and mix well.

Make Brownie Batter

  1. Melt butter and allow to cool.

  2. Best eggs in large bowl. Mix with butter.

  3. Combine dry ingredients and mix well.

  4. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix completely.

Combine the two

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Grease two 8x8 baking pans (or a 9x13 baking pan)r

  3. In one pan, place half the cookie dough and press flat to cover the bottom of pan.

  4. Spread half the brownie batter over cookie dough. Set pan aside.

  5. In second pan, place remaining brownie batter.

  6. Drop cookie dough into the brownie batter by spoonfuls.

  7. Bake both pans at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Recipe Notes

Top with your favorite frosting.

Add extra chips or chopped nuts for variety.
