Vintage Johnny Marzetti Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces dried Macaroni Pasta
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion
  • 16 ounces Tomato Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Chive

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Using large sauce pan, boil water and cook macaroni according to package directions.

  3. Dice onion.

  4. Place skillet on medium heat and brown ground beef and cook onions.

  5. Drain cooked macaroni and set aside.

  6. Drain grease from ground beef.

  7. Add pasta sauce to ground beef.

  8. Toss macaroni with pasta sauce, beef, and onion mixture.

  9. Spread macaroni mixture in 9x13 casserole dish.

  10. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over macaroni mixture.

  11. Mix spices in small bowl or measuring cup. Sprinkle over cheese.

  12. Bake macaroni for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
